Belair have taken the original profiles and outline of the Smeed designed Popsie and re-designed it to 60" wingspan. The model will fit in most small cars and when powered by brushless electric would make a wonderful model on a warm evening in Summer!
Constructiion is very similar to the original, only modified were necessary for the larger size. The Parts Set includes all balsa and plywood shaped parts, such as formers, bulkhead, cabin top, wing ribs, dihedral braces, tip outline for wing and tail/fin, tail ribs, plus some smaller items. Builders needs to supply stripwood and covering. A full size plan with RC modifications is supplied as is a vac-formed cowling.
Our model uses an OS 32 -750Kv brushless motor. Suits ic of 30-46 size 4 strokes or 350-500w electric
